IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING ADMISSION
(a) The cost of Prospectus and Application forms is as follows:-
(i) By Hand Rs.
300/-
(ii) By Registered Post Rs. 340/-
(iii) SC/ST boys Rs. 200/- by hand and Rs. 240/- by Registered Post.
(b) Payment to be made through IPO or Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India,Goalpara in favour of Principal,Sainik School Goalpara,payable at Goalpara,Mornoi (Code 9148).Sample question papers can be obtained on payment of additional amount of Rs. 50/- by Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft for class VI & IX only. No Sample Question paper on Intelligence will be supplied.
Application made out on the official form provided at the end of Prospectus alone will be accepted. Application form along with the following must be completed in all respects and submitted to the Principal, Sainik School Goalpara ,P.O.- Rajapara (Assam) so as to reach him before the expiry of the last date for submission as notified in the leading news papers during November/December. Application received after the due date will not be accepted.
Two recent passport size Photographs to be affixed on the Application form and Identification Certificate.
Caste Certificates for SC/ST category should accompany the Application Form wherever applicable.
Only those boys who are within the age limits are eligible to apply .No relaxation in the age is permissible.
Candidates who have appeared earlier in the Entrance Examination for class VI and IX are not eligible to appear again for Entrance Examination to that class.
Application found in order will be registered and call up letter will be issued in due course.
Any change in the address should be communicated to the School at the earliest.
The School is not responsible for non-receipt / late receipt of applications due to postal delays.
ADMISSION IN CLASS XI
The criteria for re-admission in class XI is as follows:
DIRECT ADMISSION IN CLASS XI
A few seats are available for direct admission to class XI in Sainik School. The boy whose age is between 15 and 16 yrs. as on 1st July of the academic session is eligible for direct admission provided he has studied in an English medium School affiliated to State/Central Board and scored minimum of 60% in the class X Board Examination. Final admissions subject to medical fitness and clearing the interview.
BOND/AGREEMENT
Parents/Guardians of finally selected candidates for admission will have to furnish Bond/Agreement in the prescribed format supplied by the School.
