LOCATION

                 The school is located on Goalpara-Matia-Dudhnoi road ,18 Kms. away from Goalpara town, near village Mornoi and adjacent to village Rajapara. Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) operates frequent bus services from Goalpara town to Guwahati via Sainik School.The nearest railway station is New Bongaigaon approx. 80 kms. away and there is regular bus service from New Bongaigaon to Goalpara Sainik School. Guwahati railway station is approximately 130 kms. away and regular bus service is available.

ADMINISTRATION

                The administration of Sainik School is vested with an autonomous body known as Sainik Schools Society of which  Defence Minister is the  Chairman . The Chief Ministers  and the Education Ministers  of the states, some prominent educationists of the states and high ranking civil and military officers are members of the Society.

In addition, Sainik School Goalpara is administered by a Local Board of Administration (LBA) which deals with all local administrative problems of the school and exercises powers as entrusted by the Board of Governors (MOD). Routine administrative matters are handled by the Principal with the help of Head Master ,Registrar and other Staff placed under him. The following dignitaries constitute our LBA.

The Principal ,Head Master and Registrar  of the School are Defence Service Officers. The Principal will be the Chief Executive and Academic Head of the School. Headmaster will be the Head of Academic team and responsible for Training ,Education and Discipline. The Registrar looks after administration of the school and both of them work under the direction and supervision of the Principal.
